Into the rain’s twilight

In the realm where the sun’s chariot descends,

Under a sky of melancholy blends,

Raindrops dance like a symphony in play,

As my love, in slumber, finds her stay.

Her feet on mine, a sweet surrender,

A silent tale of love we render.

In dreams, she swims through the starless night,

In the sea of love, oh, what a sight!

I yearn for the window, the world in sight,

To read tales of those in the grey twilight.

They swim through the day, in the moist light’s haze,

A dance in the rain, in the world’s wide maze.

But I dare not move, dare not break the spell,

In this silent moment, we both dwell.

Though my feet are numb, lost in time,

In the sweet pressure of love’s sublime.
