Failure

Beyond the conviction, a journey unfolds,

A path not taken, a story untold.

In the realm of the possible, where dreams reside,

Fear is just a dam, a momentary slide.

What you are, what you can be,

Is more than what the eye can see.

The terrible form of failure, a product of fear,

A self-made confusion, a story of a spear.

In the dance of existence, in the play of life,

There’s more to it than just strife.

The conviction, the failure, the terrible form,

Are but waves in the ocean while passing through storm.

Dance outside conviction, embrace what you can,

For life is a melody, and you’re the bandsman.

Fear is fleeting, like a shadow in the night,

In the grand scheme of things, it’s but a slight.
