I like trekking and climbing mountains. Luckily, I live in Romania and I have a lot of great options for this passion. Last Saturday I went on a 14 km trekking route with two friends.
If you are looking for a challenging and rewarding winter trekking route in Romania, you might want to follow my adventure to Lucacila and Deleanu peaks, two of the highest points in the Bucegi-Leaota range. This trek was ❄medium in difficulty, as it involved walking on snowy, icy, and steep paths.
But the views were amazing, as I could see the majestic Leaota, Piatra Craiului, and Bucegi mountains from different angles. The weather was snowy, cold at -8 C, and snow deep ranging from a few cm to a meter. Watch the video I made with this trip.
