Tides

At dawn, we waded into the arms of the sea
Our footsteps etched in the sands of time
Sunbeams kissed our skin, igniting hope
As if the ocean itself cradled our dreams

Shells, like ancient secrets, lay scattered
Seaweed deep danced, a tangle of forgotten tales
Gulls wept, their cries echoing our longing
Footprints vanished along with dreams and the waves

Oceans of memories, inked upon the shore
A kiss—tart as apples, salty as the sea
Promises whispered, lost in the salt breeze
Where the sun found us, drowning in stardust

Each falling star, a wish flung to the abyss
Constellations pirouetting in liquid skies
The sea held our secrets
As we traced love's map upon the foamy canvas

Morning painted the sky with golden hues
Our love etched in the sands of forever
And the sea, keeper of secrets, murmured
Whispers of the tides, immortal and true.
