Thunderstorms

In the shadowed caverns of my soul
Where thunderstorms collide
I find the voices of the silent storm
A symphony of secrets I can't hide

Lightning strikes my memories
Electric veins of longing
Torn pages of forgotten dreams
Ink bleeding into the night

I'm the shipwrecked sailor
Lost in tempest-tossed seas
My heart is a broken compass
Seeking solace, searching your breeze

Your eyes, like supernovas
Guide me through the chaos
Each blink a meteor
Burning salted trails across my skin

Thunderclaps, our silent conversations
Lightning bolts, our unspoken vows
In this tempest, we find shelter
Two souls, adrift, yet anchored somehow

And when the storm subsides
And the waves retreat
I'll trace your name in the sand
A whispered promise
A love that defies defeat.
